Getting Back on the road in 2021

Like so many folks in the world, our 2020 has been a royal bummer! Cancelling our entire tour schedule was certainly not how we envisioned our inaugural season, but we felt it was the responsible decision to make. That said, we are optimistic that 2021 will bring back fun on two wheels. We know everyone has many concerns and questions about how we will tour in 2021 as Covid persists. So, we compiled some responses and operation guidelines.

What precautions will be taken on tour?

We have limited the number of tour participants on many of our 2021 tours to a smaller group size. If your tour is van supported you will be expected to wear a mask while in the van until CDC guidelines indicate that is no longer neccessary. Any tours that involve camp meals will be prepped and cooked by a Spotted Dog Cycles staff member. We hope keeping fewer cooks in the kitchen will make for the safest dining experience possible.

Will Spotted Dog cancel tours in 2021?

If the virus is not under control by the time our spring tours come around we will cancel what we need to. Until a vaccine is widely accessible we will be very diligent about precautions and cancellations.

Will I be refunded if a tour is cancelled?

If Spotted Dog Cycles cancels a tour due to Covid-19 reasons any payments you have made including the deposit will be refunded in full. If you decide to cancel your reservation for any reason your payment will be refunded minus your deposit. Because we know times are uncertain we have lowered our deposit price for the 2021 tours.

What is the safest way to tour with Spotted Dog Cycles?

As Covid-19 continues on we believe the safest way to tour with us is to set up a custom trip. Touring with a close group of friends or family that you currently interact with will be ideal. We love to organize custom tours based on your preferences and will be sure to take all local precautions into consideration. We will be following CDC guidelines when organizing a custom tour, so if there are restrictions where you are hoping to tour we will not be able to accommodate.
