DESCRIPTION:

 

Enjoy the beauty that is Glacier National Park on this six day van supported bicycle tour. Your journey will begin in Whitefish where you will meet your guides and spend your first night of the tour at the Whitefish Bike Retreat, a Montana treasure. The next morning we will head out for West Glacier. Riding out of the retreat we will take back roads to the park entrance and then onward to Lake McDonald Lodge. Enjoy a beverage by the lake and prepare for you next day’s ride over Logan Pass. 

 

Hit the road bright and early to head over Going-to-the-Sun-Road. This historic road should be on every cyclist’s bucket list. Spend some time at Logan’s Pass before bombing down the mountain towards the gateway town of St. Mary. Here we will enjoy some local fare and an evening overlooking St. Mary Lake and Flattop Mountain. 

 

Enjoy breakfast at Johnson's Family Cafe before heading towards Many Glacier.      At Spotted Dog, this is one of our favorite parts of the park. This is a shorter day in the saddle which will give us time to enjoy an afternoon boat tour on Swiftcurrent Lake. We will relax with a night in the iconic Many Glacier Lodge before departing for East Glacier the following day.

 

Pedaling out of St. Mary along the border of the park within the Blackfeet Nation take the time to stop at the Blackfeet Indian Memorial that overlooks Divide Mountain. We will head to East Glacier Lodge for a final evening on the road. The following morning you will be shuttled back to Whitefish, Montana where our tour will conclude after a celebratory lunch.
