DESCRIPTION:

Revel in the unique beauty and solitude found in the Arrowhead Region of Northern Minnesota. Spend the first half of the trip immersed in dense deciduous forests near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, a land where lakes abound. Then head towards the western shore of Lake Superior where the dense forest gives way to the epic views of the Gitchi Gumi.

A easy pedal into Grand Marais provides a great opportunity to spend the afternoon exploring the bustling port town or drink some local brews. Spending a night at one of Grand Marais' unique lodging options you'll get to sleep in a bed and enjoy some local fare.

All that is left is to point south and enjoy the quaint lakeside towns as we head towards Duluth. This second half of the tour will allow for some evenings at great campsites on the shores of Lake Superior.

PRICE INCLUDES:

This van supported  tour includes camping in some of the North Shore's finest locations. All meals will be provided. They will either be enjoyed by the campfire and catered by your multi-talented leader or enjoyed at a local establishment. This tour also includes a shuttle to and from the Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport.

DON'T FORGET:

Autumn in northern Minnesota is a truly spectacular sight to see. Leaves in all shades of red, yellow, and orange blanket the landscape. The cool fall temperatures provide perfect conditions for cruising some country, gravel roads.
